Yosemite is truly a treasure! I am so glad we stopped here. As soon as we got there, we had a picnic at the ranger station and picked up our Jr. Ranger booklets. Our family is a huge lover of the Jr Ranger programs at all the National Parks. The kids learn all about culture, nature, and the importance of national parks . It keeps them interested and its free!
As we headed to our campsite at Curry Village, we stopped and swam in the river. I could of stayed there all day. We were the only ones there playing in the natural, clean, clear waters. Miles loved climbing on the rocks, Ella loved wading in the water.
After we were all wet and ready for some dinner, we headed to the Curry Village.
Again, I am so glad we chose this campsite. It was near everything, had a pool, places to eat, and entertainment for the kids. The only fall back was the tents are really close together, we got a couple of college kids next to us that were up forever. The ranger did tell them that quiet time was at 9pm.
The next morning, we had coffee at the lodge, packed a lunch, and headed to Sentinel Dome. We hiked, climbed rocks, investigated, looked for lions, and made it all the way to the top. It was amazing being on the top of the world.
The next day we stopped by the Yosemite Falls and Yosemite Village. They were having a drought so the falls were puny but it gave us a chance to climb to the top.
Our last day we headed to see the redwoods. They are crazy big! You think they are big but then you see them. They are bigger than anything you can imagine.
So far we are doing great living out of 1 bag each. We each have enough clothes for a week.

I wished we would of brought some towels. Not sure what I was thinking not bringing any. Also wish I would of left the extra blankets at home. I wasn't sure what the tent would have in it but it had plenty of blankets.
3 days in Yosemite is not enough! We should of stayed a week.
